US Job Growth Revised Down, Non-Farm Payrolls May Decrease by 79,000
As of March, US job growth has been revised down, indicating a downward trend in the labor market. According to preliminary benchmark revision data released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, non-farm payrolls may be adjusted down by 79,000, a decrease of 0.1%. This change has prompted the Federal Reserve to still plan for interest rate cuts in 2025 despite ongoing inflation. Final data will be released early next year.
