The move could raise cloud infrastructure costs while benefiting U.S. suppliers, sending optical networking stocks sharply higher.

2) SpaceX Posts Better-Than-Expected First Earnings Since Listing, Revenue Surges While Losses Narrow

SpaceX (SPCX) reported strong Q2 results yesterday, with revenue rising significantly and net losses narrowing substantially. Adjusted EBITDA exceeded expectations, driven by strong contributions from Starlink, rapid AI business expansion, and major cloud service contracts. Shares initially surged before giving back part of the gains.

3) Palantir Delivers Strong Earnings Beat, Goldman Sachs Raises Price Target to $204

Palantir (PLTR) reported Q2 revenue of $1.95 billion, up 93% YoY, beating market expectations by 7%. U.S. commercial revenue jumped 150% YoY, accelerating from 133% last quarter, while U.S. government revenue grew 90% YoY. Following the earnings release, the stock climbed to $159.68, with Goldman Sachs and other institutions raising their price targets to $204.
