CoreWeave CEO Sells $1.2 Million in Stock for Tax Settlement
CoreWeave CEO Michael Intrator has sold shares worth $1,206,292 (approximately 1.7 billion KRW) for the purpose of tax withholding related to the settlement of compensation shares. On August 20, Intrator sold 13,129 shares of Class A common stock at $91.88 per share, and on the same day, 23,443 restricted stock units (RSUs) vested. This transaction was not marked as a 10b5-1 prearranged trading plan, and the sale was explicitly stated to be for tax payment arising from the RSU settlement process. CoreWeave is transitioning into an AI cloud infrastructure company and was established in 2017, according to its 2025 IPO prospectus. The company reported second-quarter revenues of $2.58 billion (approximately 35.8 trillion KRW), with a revenue backlog of $104.2 billion (approximately 144.4 trillion KRW). The company has raised its annual capital expenditure guidance to $35 billion to $39 billion (approximately 48.5 trillion to 54.5 trillion KRW). This is not the first insider sale; in June, co-founders and executives disposed of over $2.3 billion (approximately 31.9 trillion KRW). It can be confirmed that this sale was for tax withholding purposes related to the RSU vesting.
