Tom Lee: $2 Trillion Wealth Transfer in Next 3 Years to Drive Demand for Crypto Assets
Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, stated that the intergenerational transfer of wealth will become a significant factor driving demand in the crypto market in the coming years. According to research data from the IRS and Fundstrat, it is estimated that approximately $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion will be transferred between generations from 2026 to 2028. Younger investors typically have a higher risk appetite, which may increase their allocation to risk assets such as crypto assets and stocks. Tom Lee also pointed out that Wall Street's accelerated adoption of blockchain technology for asset tokenization, the development of AI applications, and treasury companies holding crypto assets for the long term may become driving factors for market growth in the future.
