Robinhood Wallet Integrates Arcus RFQ System for Stock Token Swaps
Robinhood Wallet has integrated Arcus's API, becoming one of several routing providers for spot exchanges of stock tokens. Eligible users can access Arcus's liquidity and execution infrastructure through the wallet in supported jurisdictions, expanding the number of supported stock tokens to over 190. Arcus, developed by the dYdX team, launched on the Robinhood Chain in July this year, initially supporting 90 stock tokens, which has now increased to 190, while the perpetual contract market remains in testing. The system uses a Request for Quote (RFQ) model, with professional market makers pricing each exchange rather than relying on a single liquidity pool. If a Robinhood Wallet user's exchange is executed through Arcus, they may earn Arcus Points. Arcus will also provide limit order functionality through the wallet's dapp browser. Since its launch, Arcus has accumulated a trading volume of over $5 billion, with more than 15,000 independent traders and a total locked value exceeding $28 million. Arcus CEO Eddie Zhang stated that the early growth validates the demand from traders for a global, accessible, and round-the-clock market.
