Iran Denies Plans to Reopen the Strait of Hormuz
According to the Iranian Fars News Agency, the plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is purely a rumor, and no agreement has been reached. Relevant military sources stated that as long as the United States continues its hostile actions, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed, and vessels must follow the announced routes and obtain permission from the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. Earlier reports from Israeli media indicated that Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif agreed to a proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz put forward by the U.S. and Qatar, prompting U.S. President Trump to cancel plans for an attack on Iran.
