Finance Minister Andrzej Domański confirmed that another draft law concerning crypto assets will be submitted to the Sejm. A decision on this matter has not yet been made, but Domański suggested that he might present the same draft as before. The government plans for the KNF to remain the supervisory body for the industry. Domański added that the government does not oppose judicial oversight over blocking websites suspected of harming customers, which raises concerns in the industry. In Friday's vote, the Sejm did not reject the president's third veto, achieving 241 votes in favor, 198 against, and 3 abstentions. Prime Minister Donald Tusk read the testimony of a key witness in the Zondacrypto case, indicating possible irregularities. President Karol Nawrocki has vetoed the government bill for the third time, and the cryptocurrency industry fears overregulation of the market, which could discourage companies from registering in Poland. The government argues that the law aims to combat abuses and protect consumers.
