GMX Introduces One-Click Trading, Excluding Smart Wallets
The decentralized derivatives exchange GMX has introduced a one-click trading feature. This function reduces repetitive wallet signatures, making transactions easier. However, smart wallets like Safe do not support this feature, allowing only classic trading. In the app update scheduled for July 2026, GMX will add support for smart wallets, express trading, one-click trading, improvements to swap path displays, and the ability to install a Progressive Web App (PWA). One-click trading allows users to approve sub-account keys for a specified number of trades and duration, enabling transactions without a wallet popup for each order. Funds from position reductions, closures, and swaps return to the user's wallet, and if the pre-approved number of trades is exceeded, a wallet signature is required again. As a security measure, sub-account keys are stored in the browser's local storage, and if the key is leaked, trades can be executed within the approved limit. GMX offers perpetual futures and spot trading primarily based on Arbitrum (ARB) and Avalanche (AVAX). As of the 5th, GMX V2's 30-day perpetual futures trading volume was recorded at $65.33 billion, with a 24-hour trading volume of $3.49 billion and an open interest of $2.50 billion.
