Chinese Citizen Extradited to the U.S. for Cryptocurrency Fraud

A Chinese citizen has been extradited to the United States for allegedly participating in a cryptocurrency fraud scheme targeting American citizens. The man appeared in court for the first time today after being extradited from the Netherlands, facing fraud charges amounting to millions of dollars. The case involves a scam operation based in Cambodia, with victims including 174 identified American citizens. The man has been ordered to be detained, with a formal hearing scheduled for November 30 at the federal district court in downtown Los Angeles.
